In a world that never stops spinning, we often forget the most powerful reset button we have: our breath.

Every day—before stepping into the rush of the world, and again before surrendering to rest—I ground myself with a 20-minute Kundalini yoga practice designed to soothe anxiety, balance the nervous system, and activate deep inner clarity. This isn’t just movement—it’s a ritual of renewal.

Why Kundalini Yoga for Anxiety?

The Flow: Morning or Night, Same Sacred Sequence

1. Gentle Warm-Up
We begin with light spinal movements to awaken dormant energy, opening the channels for breath and flow. This prepares the body for deeper stillness later in the session.

2. Lotus Pose & Stillness
The classic cross-legged lotus posture stabilizes your base. Here, we practice stillness—not as silence, but as inner power gathering.

3. The Four Elements Poses
To finish, I move through four symbolic postures representing the elements:

  • Air (Breath) – Deep, conscious breathing
  • Fire (Overhead) – Arms raised overhead to stoke inner vitality
  • Water (Weather over the bladder) – Hands near the lower belly to balance emotion and flow
  • Earth (Arms outstretched) – Palms open, arms extended, grounding fully into presence

These movements aren’t just physical—they’re energetic. They bring balance, ignite awareness, and leave me feeling calm, clear, and ready for anything.
