Boom. Headlines flood in. America is feeling things. Anger, fear, confusion—and a little bit of envy (I mean, $47 shampoo?).

Retail giants claim they’re losing billions. Politicians launch campaigns about “safety” and “order.” Suburban moms clutch pearls. Urban youth get vilified. We’re in Act II of a Netflix original.

Scene 2: The Fixers Arrive

And just when all hope is lost…

It’s like if Saw, Shark Tank, and Sesame Street had a love child that ran the government and the stock market.

Why This Works

Because it’s emotional capitalism.

You feel scared = buy security. You feel guilty = donate to a cause. You feel angry = subscribe to a streaming service to forget it all. You feel hope = invest in green energy (sponsored by Big Oil’s side project).

Final Scene: The Collective Therapy Session

We all sit around wondering, “Why is the world like this?” as a soft piano version of the national anthem plays.

But deep down, we know: this is the best marketing campaign ever.

It turns pain into profit.

It turns chaos into clicks.
